Types of product
There is a range of different products available to UK retail investors. UKSPA has created a series of Product Codes to help you understand the main types of structured product available to you, and an educational video to show you how they work.
They are broken down into two main categories:
- Protected
- Non-Protected
And are then segmented by either:
- Growth
- Income
Within each of these categories, you will find the specific types of structured product payoffs and an explanation of how they behave.
These codes are intended as a reference guide, to help advisers and investors understand what the different types of products are and their key features.
